What is the scam?

A website for 'Don Patra Solicitors' is operating at 'www.donpatrasolicitors.com/uk/'.

The above website appears to have cloned the website of a genuine firm of solicitors and misuses the names and images of genuine employees including the names of a genuine solicitor, lawyer and trainee solicitors (see below). It also gives the address of a number of genuine firms of solicitors (see below).

The website provides contact details of '+44 745 223 0188', an email address of 'info@donpatrasolicitors.com' as well as a postal address of 90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE (see below).

The SRA does not authorise or regulate a firm of solicitors called 'Don Patra Solicitors'.

Any business or transaction through the telephone number '+44 745 223 0188' and the email address 'info@donpatrasolicitors.com' is not undertaken by a firm or solicitor authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Is there a genuine firm or person?

The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Sunrise Solicitors Limited (company registration number: 06405492) with the SRA ID 490903. Its postal address is 228 Merton High Street, South Wimbledon, London, SW19 1AU and Its genuine telephone contact details are +44 203 930 2601, +44 7851 135681. The firm can also be contacted on the email address enquiries@sunrisesolicitors.co.uk.

The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor called Amir I Naviwala who is a director at Sunrise Solicitors Limited. The SRA also authorises and regulates a genuine Registered Foreign Lawyer called Adnan Sharif who is a consultant at Sunrise Solicitors Limited.

The SRA also regulates Aasma Naviwala and Nai Kiet Thai who are trainee solicitors at Sunrise Solicitors Limited.

The genuine firm of Sunrise Solicitors Limited and the above individuals have confirmed that they have no connection to the above website.

The SRA authorises and regulates genuine firms at a postal address of 90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. None of the genuine firms are believed to have any connection with the above matter.

What should I do?
